FAQs
Questions? We’ve Got Answers.
Some of the most common questions we get about trash bin cleaning in Fernandina Beach, Yulee, and Amelia Island.
When do you clean my bins relative to trash pickup?
We clean the next weekday after your trash is picked up. We do not work Saturdays or Sundays, so if trash is picked up on Friday, we clean on Monday. For local collection days, check Waste Management’s Fernandina Beach trash pickup schedules.
When do I need to put my trash bins at the curb?
Put your empty bins at the curb the night before your cleaning so that we can get to them as soon as possible the next morning.
How often should I have my bins cleaned?
Most families schedule monthly or quarterly service depending on heat, odor, and how quickly bins get grimy between trash pickup days.
How much does bin cleaning cost?
Monthly service is $25 per cleaning, quarterly is $45 every three months, and one-time cleanings are $60. The first bin is included; each additional bin is $10. See our service plans.
How does the bin cleaning process work?
We use a high-heat sanitization process that disinfects, deodorizes, and leaves Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island bins looking cleaner at the curb.
Is your cleaning process safe for my family, pets, and the environment?
Yes. We use eco-conscious methods and responsible water practices designed for regular residential service across Northeast Florida. Keeping bins clean also helps reduce pest attraction around the home — see the EPA’s guidance on integrated pest management.
Will my bins be sanitized and disinfected?
Absolutely. High-heat cleaning targets bacteria and germs that linger inside and around curbside bins.
Do I need to be home for the service?
Usually not. As long as bins are accessible on your scheduled service day, the crew can complete the visit.
What types of bins do you clean?
We clean standard residential trash and recycling bins for homes in Fernandina Beach, Yulee, Amelia Island, and nearby areas. Contact us if you have specialty containers.
How long does the cleaning take?
Each stop is quick — typically just a few minutes per bin once the crew arrives on your service day.
Will you remove bad odors?
Yes. Deodorizing is a core part of the service, so bins smell fresher instead of masking odors temporarily.
What if my bin is extra dirty?
Our high-heat process is built for tough buildup. Extremely soiled bins may need an extra pass — just let us know.
How do I cancel or change my service?
You can cancel or change your plan with at least 24 hours’ notice. On the Contact page, use the Current customers button to request a change or cancellation.
How do I get started?
Start with an address check on the Contact page booking form. Tell us which day trash is picked up in your Fernandina Beach or Amelia Island neighborhood — we schedule cleaning for the next weekday (Friday pickup means Monday cleaning).
